I attended the 2006 eBay Live in Las Vegas.
This has been one of the most exciting events I have ever attended!
If you are a beginner or a pro, eBay live is for you.
Don't worry about going alone, I went by myself & with 15,000 attendees, you are never alone.
You will meet new friends every step of the way & with every line you stand.
My main 2 purposes of attending eBay live was to:
"Get as much new information for my students here in my TN classrooms"
"Meet the one person I truly admire and inspired me to teach eBay classes
(other than my husband of coarse)
"Griff"
The Dean of eBay Education.
I have such a strong passion for eBay & teaching my eBay classes.
This is why I wanted to collect special pictures to share with you of my awesome venture to eBay Live 2006!
I had the pleasure of meeting Griff many times during my stay & enjoyed his company & at the Education Specialist dinner on the first evening.

Yes, that's right! All the way from Alabama to Vegas.
They stopped by to see me as I was working the eBay ES booth.
I meet the Meads early spring 2006 as they attended my eBay class in Murfreesboro TN.
Mary Ann did work for Nasa & recently retired & doing eBay on the side.
The Meads are not just students anymore, like many of my students,
they have become dear friends of mine.
And then They treated me to an awesome dinner after a long day of eBaying & a wonderful
night of eBay "Keynotes" with Meg Whitman & Bill Cobb.

Meg Whitman announced the site had registered its 200 millionth user.
And though growth is slowing, trade on eBay is vast and getting bigger every day--more than $44 billion worth of goods changed hands on the site last year.

A Jerry Greenfield Book Signing and an Ice Cream Social - add a room full of enthusiastic members and it's a good time waiting to be had.
To participate in the book signing,
you had to purchase Ben & Jerry's Double-Dip: Lead with Your Values and Make Money, Too
at The eBay Shop and bring it (along with a hankering' for ice-cream) to the signing session. Members did just that.
My husband Todd loves the stuff & just had to get in on this one. Plus I got to eat tons of this great stuff while waiting in line.

There were 700+ eBay employees gathered on both sides.
Greeted everyone who walked down
the "Red Carpet".
They made you feel like a true celebrity, high-fiving everyone & thanking each & everyone for a wonderful year and being part of the eBay community.
Without a dry eye the whole way I was able to manage my way through.
This event was truly breath taking & really made me realize even more how much eBay really cares for the community & how important eBay is in my life.
2006 eBay Live Limited Edition Collectors Pin
Only 1000 made.
The big thing at eBay Live is collecting all the pins.
The most "Wanted" Pin was this one.
This pin was the rare one that everyone hoped for.
I was handed this pin at random & was lucky enough to be at the right place AND the right time to get one of these highly coveted LIMITED EDITION Rhinestone encrusted eBay Live! pin.
Many ebayers there remarked how fortunate I was.
